BOARD

Somalie Inez

President and founder

Somalie Inez is a writer, director, producer, an empowering and motivational speaker, community activist and humanitarian – as she has a big heart for humanity. She takes on projects that inspire her, which is what urged her to start Point of Love Foundation.

It started at a young age - 10 years old; she would always help people in her community. When she was 12 years old, she used to take care of a 35 year-old special-needs woman, and when she was 13 she volunteered for a nursing home to handle their activities, and visit with the elderly.  It did not stop there as Somalie continued to serve with the Salvation Army. She worked as a translator for women scarred by domestic violence, and for at-risk children.

As she has continually adopted homeless people, she is known to take her last few dollars to make sure that they have something to eat or something warm to drink. You will find her not hesitating either to also help rescue a dog in the middle of a street and do many other volunteer and humanitarian deeds.

Somalie believes with love, kindness, and compassion that people can heal completely. Her mission is simple: to utilize her voice by spreading a message of compassion to help heal the heartbreak, trauma, and pain experienced by many globally.
